Hey- I wanted to ask you something. I'm kinda having trouble blending in the skin and making the skin and features look realistic- they look cartoony.. any tips you can give me?

Hmmm, by cartoony, how do you mean?

The usual problem I had when I was first painting digitally was that the features were just too bold and that made them look very toony. You've got to remember to use that smudge brush a little even on sharp edges. Completely solid lines just won't fit in with the rest of the image...
