Thanks so much for your tutorial.
I use this tool a lot too, specially when I replace blown out sky in my pictures. I use the magnetic lasso tool, and it has some settings.

frequency

Could you advice me which ones would be the best settings to use in this options of the tool?

There are some techniques, but it's not easy to do.

I've always found the Pen Tool to be the best cutting tool. Polygonal Lasso Tool comes second because it doesn't cut curves just as well.

nice tutorial, although i personally prefer using the pen tool as i find it easier to do curves that way
