Since Adobe Systems purchased the license to distribute Photoshop in September 1988 (incidentally the same month I was born - I'm a real Photoshop baby!), it has grown to be the flagship of Adobe Systems and the most used commercial image editing program. This is the sleek icon that for the newest version, CS4:

But, even Photoshop has embarassing baby pictures

And this is what you saw when you opened version 1.0.7:

Interesting thing to note that even now, over a decade and 13-14 versions later, the interface still have a strong resemblance with the "baby version". Good design or lazy designers?
